1.) Last Call -- Group Run @ Exploratorium (Tuesday, May 25)

A few spots remain for the SF Runs in-person group run on Tuesday, May 25th. This run will start and finish at the Exploratorium at 6:30 pm and all paces are welcome. Advance registration is required. Learn more and register here.

2.) Virtual Event Spotlight: Cure Arthritis 5K

Registration is open for the Cure Arthritis 5K. This is part of the Cure Arthritis Challenge, a virtual event in May founded by SF Runs member Liz Contreras Palmer to raise awareness of the need for a cure for arthritis, lupus, psoriatic arthritis, Behçet’s disease, spondyloarthritis, and other auto inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. Funds raised benefit the Arthritis National Research Foundation. Learn more and register here.

3.) Sunday, June 6 - Special Edition Run

SF Runs will be collaborating with other local running groups for a run on Sunday, June 6th. One element of this run will be to participate in a multi-city event organized by Sanctuary Runners to demonstrate solidarity with refugees, asylum seekers, and other communities. Runners will receive a free t-shirt (quantities are limited). More details will be posted soon on the SF Runs website and social media channels [FB, IG].

4.) Return of the Race Calendar and Discounts!

With the return of in-person racing, SF Runs has relaunched its SF Bay Area race calendar. Additional races will be added as they're announced. The discounts section of SF Runs has also resumed. Current savings include:

• Thanks to our friends at Enviro-Sports, members of SF Runs can save 10% on a number of their 2021 races. To receive this discount use code "SFRUNS2021".

• You can save $5 on the Statuto Race, which is scheduled for October 24, 2021. This year will be the 100th edition of this iconic race, which starts and finishes in North Beach. To receive this savings use code "sfruns2020". Learn more and register here.

• SF Bay Area-based company GU Energy is currently offering a 20% discount sitewide through May 31st.

5.) Job Listings
