1. Next Community Run - Tuesday 9/19
SF Runs continues to host free community runs! Our next run will be Tuesday 9/19 @ 6:20 pm and will start/finish at the SF Runs office @ Pier 26. Three and four mile routes are available. All paces are welcome and gear check is provided. RSVP via Facebook.
2. Update on Bay Area chapter of Achilles International
The Bay Area chapter of Achilles International had a successful first training run last weekend with more than 30 people attending! The mission of Achilles International is to enable people with all types of disabilities to participate in mainstream running events in order to promote personal achievement.
Starting this weekend the group will meet on Saturdays at 10:00 am at Golden Gate Park (corner of 9th and Lincoln Way). All are welcome to attend and no experience is necessary. More information about the group and their upcoming events is available here.

6. Paid Opportunity for Runners
A Bay Area wearable fitness tracker company is seeking people to help them test their products during September. The compensation is $15 per hour and details are below. If you're interested in this opportunity or have any questions e-mail Maya at [email protected]
* Requirements:Able to run 3 miles without stopping. Available for full days of testing.
* Weeks of Testing:9/18-9/22 or 9/25-9/29 (each person can only test for one of these weeks)
