1. Discount for Berkeley Half Marathon/10K/5K

For those interested in participating in the Berkeley Half Marathon, 10K or 5K events on November 20th, there is a discount available via Groupon here.

2. Back on My Feet Launch Events

Back on My Feet (BoMF), a national nonprofit that combats homelessness through the power of running, community support, and essential employment and housing resources, is launching in San Francisco! There are two launch events happening this month:

* Pre-launch run & social - 11/15 @ 5:30 pm. Learn about BoMF, get in a 2 mile run, and meet fellow supporters. You will receive a swag bag for a suggested $25 donation. Registration is available here.

* Launch - 11/18 @ 7:00 am. The inaugural run, which will be about 1 mile and include community leaders and members of the homeless community that BoMF serves. This event is free and will be at Parisoma, 169 11th Street in SF.

4. Registration Open for RRCA Running Coaching Certification Course

The Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Coaching Certification Level 1 Course returns to the Bay Area with a class in Oakland in February 2017. Registration for this course is now open and usually sells out. You can learn more about this program here and register here. 5. Next Free Community Run - Nov. 8 @ 6:20 pm at Pier 26

SF Runs will host its next free 4 mile community run along the Embarcadero on Tuesday, November 8 @ 6:20 pm. All paces are welcome and gear check is available.
