1. SF Runs Hosts "Sunrise Run" this Thursday

Start your day with a morning run on the Embarcadero! SF Runs is hosting a "Special Edition" community run this Thursday.

This run will begin @ 7:00 am and will start/finish at the SF Runs office at Pier 26 on the Embarcadero. Distances from 3 - 6 miles are available. All paces are welcome and gear check is provided. RSVP via Facebook.

2. Volunteer with CAF at The North Face Endurance Challenge

The Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) is seeking volunteers for their tent at Crissy Field at The North Face Endurance Challenge race this month. Volunteer duties include distributing CAF marketing materials, accepting donations, and cheering on CAF's 15 challenged athletes at the finish line!

The available shifts are listed below. If you're interested in one of the shifts send an e-mail to Sora at [email protected] and mention SF Runs.

  • Saturday (11/18): 8:00 am - 11:00 am, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

  • Sunday (11/19): 7:00 am - 10:00 am, 10:00 am - noon

3. Paid Opportunity for Runners

A Bay Area wearable fitness tracking company is seeking people to help them test their products during November or December. The compensation is $15 per hour.

If you're interested in this opportunity e-mail Alex with the week you'd prefer (testers can only test for one week) at [email protected] and mention SF Runs.

  • Requirements: Able to run 3 miles without stopping. Available for full days of testing.

  • Schedule: M-F, 9 AM - 5 PM

  • Available weeks: 11/13-11/17, 11/20-11/24, 11/27-12/1, 12/4-12/8, 12/11-12/15, 12/18-12/22
