1. Trail Running Film Festival in SF - November 28 + 29

The Trail Running Film Festival will be visiting SF next week. This event features fun and inspiring films from the world of trail running. You can view the complete lineup of films here.

This event will be at the the Roxie Theater in SF and the schedule of films is the same for both nights. You can learn more about this event here and purchase tickets here.

2. Race Sign-up Deadline: 2017 Chicago Marathon

SF Runs will begin highlighting entry/registration deadlines for popular races in the Bay Area and other locations.

* Tuesday, November 29 @ 2:00 pm Central - Deadline to apply for the lottery or as a time qualifier for the 2017 Chicago Marathon (the 40th anniversary of this race!). Complete application information is available here.

4. List of Volunteer Opportunities

If you are looking to volunteer this holiday season, there are a couple of resource lists available via Funcheap SF and KQED.

5. USATF Coaching Level 1 Class - January 14+15 in Hayward

USA Track and Field (USATF) will be offering their next Level 1 coaching class in the Bay Area on January 14 and 15 at Chabot College in Hayward. Registration information is available here.

Also, a limited number of scholarships are available -- the application is available here.

6. Next Community Run - Nov. 29 @ 6:20 pm

SF Runs will host its next free 4 mile community run along the Embarcadero on Tuesday, November 29 @ 6:20 pm. All paces are welcome and gear check is available.
