Congratulations to everyone who participated in races this past weekend, including the scenic and challenging North Face Endurance Challenge. I also know some runners who have attended SF Runs events this year and completed their first marathon last weekend at the California International Marathon -- way to go!

1. SF Runs Holiday Party!

Join SF Runs as we celebrate the holiday season and your year of running with a party! This event will be on Monday, December 19, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm @ Athleta, 255 Sutter Street, SF

Event highlights include:

• Free refreshments

• Raffle prizes including a signed copy of Run Fast Eat Slow by Elyse Kopecky + Shalane Flanagan

• Awards to local runners

Registration is free, but please RSVP via Meetup or Facebook to help us estimate refreshments. You will also have an opportunity to donate to some local running-related nonprofits at the event.  This event is open to all (you do not need to have attended a previous SF Runs event).

2. Running + Yoga this Sunday

This Sunday, Running to the Mat will hold their next session @ 9:00 am at A Runner's Mind, 3575 Sacramento Street, SF. This program will feature a 45-minute group run through the Presidio followed by a 45-minute yoga practice with adjustments and modifications for all level of students.
