Oakland Marathon Announces 2024 Courses
Last week the Oakland Marathon released new courses for its 2024 races. The race website has detailed information on the marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K (all scheduled for March 17, 2024).

New Tyler Ranch Staging Area Provides Access to 18 Miles of Trails in the East Bay
Earlier this month the East Bay Regional Park District celebrated the grand opening of the Tyler Ranch Staging Area in Sunol. This provides new public access for pedestrian, bicycle, and equestrian use on more than 18 miles of trails across 2,800 acres of protected open space.
The new parkland is part of Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park and provides panoramic views of the Bay Area, including the San Francisco Bay, Mount Diablo, Brushy Peak, Mission Peak, Mount Umunhum, and Mount Tamalpais.
